| biography:
| Sculptor, born in Barcelona, NE Spain. He was a disciple of Enric Casanoves until 1948, and co-founded the group Postectura. He held his first one-man exhibition in Barcelona in 1948, and in 1951 was given a grant to study in Paris. Among his works are ‘Dona de Putifar’ (1954), ‘Moisès’ (1955), and ‘Torre de Babel’ (1955). He also created the ‘Monument a la Marina del passeig Nacional’ (1960) and the monument to Monturiol (1963) at Diagonal, Barcelona. He exhibited in Madrid (1963) and in Barcelona (1967). |
