| Tenor, born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, WC Canada. He studied at the Toronto Royal Conservatory, sang with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and made his operatic debut with the Canadian Opera Company in Rigoletto (1954). He first sang at Covent Garden in 1957, and at the New York Metropolitan Opera in 1959. |
