| biography:
| British television and radio presenter. He began as a researcher for Channel 4 and soon co-founded his own production company, Channel X, to produce The Last Resort (1987), an innovative chat-show series. His prolific career as a presenter includes BBC TV's long-running Film Night (from 1999) and It's Only TV...But I Like It (from 1999). In 2000 he joined the panel of the sports quiz show They Think It's All Over, and also began a Saturday morning show for Radio 2. |
