| Psychologist, born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. A University of Chicago PhD, he joined the faculty of the California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco (1979) while maintaining a private psychotherapy practice. He sought to integrate Eastern religious and psychological traditions into Western psychotherapy, as in his publication The Meeting of the Ways (1979). His later work, including Challenge of the Heart (1985), focused on intimate relationships. |
