| Poet and film-maker, born in Dunvant, Swansea, SC Wales, UK. He studied at University College, Swansea, trained as a journalist, and joined BBC Wales in 1957 as a director and producer of documentary films, including studies of Welsh painters and writers such as Ceri Richards, Dylan Thomas, Alun Lewis, and R S Thomas. He also established a reputation as an Anglo-Welsh poet. |
