| Civil engineer and designer, born in Sandgate, Queensland, NE Australia. He studied at Sydney University, and designed the bridge across Sydney Harbour, eventually opened in 1932. He also planned an underground electric railway system for Sydney, and designed many other bridges, dams, and highways. |
