| Player of American football, born in Port Angeles, Washington, DC, USA. A Denver Broncos quarterback, famed for his last-quarter comebacks, he crowned an outstanding career with Super Bowl wins in 1998 and 1999 (MVP 1999). He attended Stanford University, was number-one round pick in the 1983 National Football League draft, and spent his entire career with Denver, leading them to the NFL quarterback record 148 victories and throwing for 51 475 yds, the second highest total in NFL history. He also played in three losing Super Bowl teams in 1986, 1987, and 1990. |
