He was on the faculty of the Polytechnic Institute, Brooklyn (1900–14), professor of chemistry at Cooper Union (1914–18), and professor of chemical engineering at the Polytechnic Institute (1918–44). He was a founder of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. |
