| biography:
| Designer, born in Milan, N Italy. One of the most versatile Italian designers of the 1960s, his interests included lighting, glass, furniture and, in particular, multi-function storage furniture. A logical extension of this led him to design compact ‘core’ units containing all the requirements necessary for the living environment. The best example was his ‘Total Furnishing Unit’ (1971) at the Museum of Modern Art, New York City. |
