| Writer and novelist, born in Gloucestershire, SWC England, UK, a descendant of Anthony Trollope. She studied at Oxford, then became an English teacher and freelance writer for various leading magazines and newspapers. Her novels include Parson Harding's Daughter (1980), A Village Affair (1989), The Rector's Wife (1991), Next of Kin (1996), and Marrying the Mistress (2000). Later novels include Girl From the South (2002). She has also written novels as Caroline Harvey, including Legacy of Love (1992) and The Brass Dolphin (1999). |
