| Designer and illustrator, born in Bearsden (formerly New Kilpatrick), East Dunbartonshire, WC Scotland, UK. She studied at the Glasgow School of Art and won a travelling scholarship to Italy and Germany. She was an internationally renowned and much sought-after book illustrator, who also designed jewellery and wallpaper, and was greatly involved with batik and pottery. |
