| British journalist and television presenter. A junior reporter on the Rotherham Advertiser (1978–83), he founded the Motoring Press Agency (1983), then joined the BBC as presenter on Top Gear (1989–2001) and Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld (1995– ). He is a regular columnist for leading newspapers and for Top Gear magazine, which he founded in 1993. In 1999 he hosted his own television chat show, Clarkson. |
