| French architect credited with introducing the northern Gothic style into S France, having first worked at the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris. He was architect to the cathedral at Narbonne (1286) and Clermont-Ferrand (1287). He was also probably involved in the cathedrals at Toulouse, Rodez, and Limoges, all examples of the northern style of architecture. |
