| Painter and muralist, born in Paris, France. He moved to Mexico in 1920, where he painted frescoes for the Mexican government with Diego Rivera and others. After teaching in the USA from 1929, he retired to Hawaii. His works, which are often mythical and religious in character, include Fall of Tenochtitlán (1922) and Anno DM, 1944 Press and Cameramen flash on the Spot News, W.W.II. |
