| Fashion designer, born in London, UK, the son of Sir Terence Conran. He trained at the Parsons School of Art and Design in New York City, leaving in 1977, when he joined Fiorucci briefly as a designer. In 1978 he founded his own company in London, producing his first collection of easy-to-wear, quality clothes. Awards include the British Fashion Council Designer of the Year (1986–7) and the British Fashion Collections Award (1991). |
