| Ballet dancer, choreographer, and director, born in Newmarket, Ontario, SE Canada. He graduated from the National Ballet School in Toronto in 1972, then joined the National Ballet of Canada. He moved to Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal in 1981 as principal dancer, and became resident choreographer there (1984–90). Artist in residence at the National Ballet of Canada from 1992, he took over as director in 1996. |
