| Economist, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He studied economics at Princeton University, and joined the faculty at the University of Chicago (1973), where he became professor of economics. In 2000 he shared the Nobel Prize for Economics with Daniel L McFadden for their work in the field of microeconometrics. |
