| biography:
| Painter, born in Grand Falls, North Dakota, USA. He studied at the Minneapolis School of Art (1948), at Minnesota University (1952–4), and at the Art Students' League (1955). He began as an abstract painter, but c.1960 took to Pop Art and painted enlarged bits and pieces of unrelated everyday objects. He held an exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 1972. |
