| Religious sculptor, born in Monte Sansovino, C Italy. He worked in Florence, in Portugal at the court of John II, and in Rome. Some of his work survives, including the identical tombs of Cardinal Ascanio Sforza and Girolamo Basso della Rovere, at S Maria del Popolo in Rome (1509). |
