| Figure skater, born in Moscow, Russia. She won the pairs title at three Olympics - 1972 (with Alexei Ulanov), 1976, and 1980 (both with Alexandr Zaitsev) - and won four world titles with Ulanov (1969–72) and six with Zaitsev (1973–8). During the same years she won the corresponding European titles. She married Zaitsev in 1975, retired in 1980, and trained to be an astronaut. |
