| Writer, born in Bray-sur-Marne, NW France. In 1911 he published two works on literary theory, Nos Directions and Le Pauvre sous l'escalier. He composed mystical plays for the Troupe des Compagnons de Notre-Dame, such as La Bergère au Pays des Loups and Saint-Maurice ou l'Obéissance (both 1926). Other works include a novel, Les Jeux de la terre et du ciel (1929), and Le Comédien et la grace (1925). |
