| Writer and journalist, born in Livorno, Tuscany, W Italy. He was a war correspondent for the Corriere della Sera newspaper and wrote collections of poems in the style of the crepuscolari, including L'urna (1901) and Cantilene (1920). Other works include novels, such as Gesummorto (1939), and he co-wrote the libretto for Puccini's opera Fanciulla del West. |
