| Architect, born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The son of railroad pioneer Gridley Bryant, his Boston practice prefigured the large architectural firm and designed primarily commercial and public buildings. He rebuilt 110 of his 152 buildings destroyed in the 1872 Boston fire. |
