| biography:
| German resistance fighter and lawyer, born in Gut Kreisau. Grand-nephew of Helmuth Graf von Moltke, he became Oberkommando of the Wehrmacht as specialist in international law. He gathered together a number of opponents to the Nazi regime at his estate at Kreisau (Kreisauer Kreis) but was condemned to death and executed in 1945. |
