| Italian politician, born in Prato, Tuscany, NC Italy. He was a member of the Tuscan volunteer contingent that participated in Italy's 1st Independence War. In 1849 he was part of the Tuscan temporary government with Guerrazzi and Montanelli, then became a deputy and later senator of the new Italian parliament. |
