| Poet and literary critic, born in Milan, Lombardy, N Italy. A contributor to various newspapers and periodicals, he has written poems characterized by honest civil commitment, including Le case della Vetra (1966), Economia della paura (1971), Cadenza d'inganno (1975), A tanto grave sangue (1988), and Ogni terzo pensiero (1993).
