| Artist, born in Cortona, C Italy. He studied in Rome and Paris, and signed the first Futurist manifesto in 1910. After 1914 he reverted to a more representational style, which he used in fresco and mosaic work, particularly in a number of Swiss and Italian churches. From 1940 onwards he adopted a decorative Cubist manner. |
