| Poet, born in Cardiff, S Wales, UK. She studied at University College, Cardiff, and went on to publish several collections of poetry, such as Letting in the Rumour (1989) and The King of Britain's Daughter (1993). She was editor of The Anglo-Welsh Review (1976–84), and became chair of the Welsh Academy in 1987. |
