| Rugby union player, born in Belfast, NE Northern Ireland, UK. He played as centre and outside half with the North of Ireland, Cambridge University, Ireland, and the British Lions. When he retired in 1979, his 69 appearances for Ireland were a record for an International Board nation. He toured with the British Lions in 1966, 1968, and 1971, and made 12 international appearances. He is now a Belfast solicitor. |
