| Writer, born in Samedan, E Switzerland. In the 1960s he became known as a writer of innovative detective stories with detective Sid as the main character. He has also been active as a playwright, notably for his adaptation of Theo Thijssen's novel Kees de jongen (1970, Kees the Boy), which received much acclaim. In addition, he has written science fiction, including Coriolis, de stormplaneet (1986, Coriolis, the Storm Planet) and Een osbork in de ruimte (1989, An Osbork in Space). |
