| Cartoonist, born in London, UK. His cartoons, based on extreme distortion in the tradition of Gillray (eg Mick Jagger's lips are drawn larger than the rest of his face), have appeared in Punch, Private Eye, and elsewhere, especially The Sunday Times since 1967. Appointed artist to the New Yorker from 1993, he has also worked as a theatrical designer and animated film director, notably with Hercules (1997). He is married to actress Jane Asher. |
