His films include Thoroughly Modern Millie (1967), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), Slaughterhouse 5 (1972), The Sting (1973) which earned him an Oscar for Best Director, The World According to Garp (1982), and Funny Farm (1988). |
