| Poet, born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, the son of Henry Cabot Lodge. He studied at Harvard (1891–5), in France, and Berlin (1895–7), then became secretary to his father (1897), and to a US Senate committee in Washington, DC. He is known for his sonnets, as in The Song of the Wave (1898). |
