| Silversmith, born in Raadvad, E Denmark. Having worked as a sculptor, he founded his smithy in Copenhagen in 1904, and revived the high artistic traditions of Danish silver. He developed modern designs which proved highly popular, enabling his business to expand throughout Europe, and was one of the first to produce high quality, fashionable steel cutlery. |
