| French mediaeval chronicler, born near Bar-sur-Aube, EC France. He was marshal of Champagne, and took part in the Fourth Crusade. His unfinished Histoire de l'empire de Constantinople described the events from 1198 to 1207, including the capture and sack of Constantinople in 1204. |
