| Engineer, born in Pforzheim, SW Germany. As Hitler's inspector of German roads (1933) he was responsible for the construction of the Reichsautobahnen. The Todt Organization was also responsible for the construction of the Siegfried Line (1937). Nazi minister for armaments (1940), and for fuel and power (1941), he was killed in an aircrash. |
