| Psychologist, born in Vienna, Austria. He emigrated to the USA (1938), and taught at the University of Illinois (1951–69) and the University of Washington (1969). Among his works on industrial and organizational psychology and organizational behaviour are A Theory of Leadership Effectiveness (1967) and New Approaches to Effective Leadership (co-authored, 1987). |
