| Composer and pianist, born in Geneva, SW Switzerland. He studied at Geneva Conservatory, and in 1928 was appointed professor at the Jaques-Dalcroze Institute in Geneva. His works include the oratorios Golgotha and In terra pax, a Mass, and the cantata Le Vin herbé, based upon the legend of Tristan and Isolde, as well as incidental music and works for orchestra and chamber combinations. |
