| Writer, born in Riva Ligure, Liguria, NW Italy. His poetry, including Belfonte (1903), Il randagio (1921), and Endecasillabi (1949), was influenced by the classical style of the French Parnasse movement and by d'Annunzio's decadentism. Other works include the short stories Il campo di grano (1908) and Il mazzo di gelsomini (1911), and the novel Il violinista (1908). |
