| Poet and essayist, born in Paris, France. He published L'Or des minutes, won the Prix de l'Académie Française for his collection La Maison de l'enfance (1906), and wrote poems on the war. He advocated a return to nature against Symbolism in an article in Le Figaro, reprinted in his Etude sur Hugo, essai critique (1904). He was a member of the Académie Française. |
