| Librarian, born in Los Angeles, California, USA. A graduate of the University of Illinois Library School, she spent 10 years in the cataloguing department at the University of New Mexico (1934–44). At the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore she planned a complete recataloguing and reclassifying system, which became a model for schools and small public libraries. |
