| biography:
| Sculptor and painter, born in St Louis, Missouri, USA. Based in St Louis, he began as a painter influenced by Willem de Kooning (1940s and 1950s), then started his ‘Falling Man’ sculpture series, using chrome plated bronze, silver Plexiglas, glass, and epoxy. By 1980 he began his ‘Poet’ sculptures, an exploration of the human relationship to the environment. |
