| Actor, born in Valladolid, NWC Spain, the son of actor Emilio Gutiérrez and actress Irene Caba Alba. He began his acting career in 1962 with Lilí Murati's theatrical company, and the next year joined the Teatro Nacional de Juventudes. During the 1960s he acted in a number of films portraying a timid and introverted young man with problems, including Como dos gotas de agua (1963, director Luis César Amadori), Los guardiamarinas (1965, director Pedro Lazaga), and Las cuatro bodas de Marisol (1967, director Luis Lucía). During the following decade his popularity increased, and he also appeared on television. |
