| Sculptor, born in Alexandria, Minnesota, USA. He studied at the Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield, MI. He specializes in life-size figures painted realistically and adorned with hats, wristwatches, and other objects. His earlier work was violent (eg ‘Abortion’, 1966), but he later made mildly satirical pieces, such as ‘Woman with Shopping Trolley’ (1969) and ‘Tourists’ (1970). |
