| Anglican clergyman and theologian. He studied at Cambridge, and was a curate in Salford (1959–62) before returning to Cambridge, where he became Dean of Emmanuel College (1966–91). His publications include Crisis of Moral Authority (1972), The Sea of Faith (1984) to accompany the television series of the same name, The New Christian Ethics (1988), and Solar Ethics (1995). |
