| Writer, born in Zeist, WC Netherlands. He studied philosophy, and formed a literary partnership with fellow writer Martin Bril. They produced works with a high entertainment level, a great deal of irony, and a diverse use of genres, ready-mades, short essays, anecdotes, and aphorisms in neo-realistic style. Van Weelden also wrote novels on his own which have postmodernist overtones describing the existentialist loneliness of man. |
