| biography:
| Count of Holland (from 1121), the son of Floris II. He supported his brother-in-law Lothaire of Saxony against Henry V, and so recovered parts of Holland occupied by Utrecht after Lothaire's election in 1125. He finally managed, with help from Conrad II, to get his own candidate recognized as bishop of Utrecht. |
