| biography:
| Poet and writer, born in The Netherlands. He worked as a civil servant (diplomat and secretary) for several counts from Holland and for Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy. He spent time abroad, in Germany and Italy, but his work lacks any great influence of the Italian Renaissance. Both his poetry and prose are concerned with good morals in love. |
