| Television, stage, and film producer, born in Brookline, Massachusetts, USA. Forming Talent Associates (1947) to package creative personnel, he produced live television dramas, such as Armstrong Circle Theatre during the 1950s, and Broadway plays, including Rashomon (1959). In 1958 he launched Open End, an issue-oriented panel television programme, and he also produced films including Raisin in the Sun (1961). He continued to moderate discussion on The David Susskind Show (1967–86). |
