| Actor and director, born in New York City, USA. He studied theatre and speech at Northwestern University, then co-founded Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company, where he has directed a number of productions. He played several small roles in television series, eventually becoming well known for his role as Ross Geller in the acclaimed television series Friends (1994– ). Roles in feature films include Crossing the Bridge (1992), The Pallbearer (1996), Kissing a Fool (1998), and Uprising (2001). |
